This bridge in baroque style was ordered by Frederick II to connect the city with Toledo.
Made with yellow calcareous stone, the bridge is decorated with the statues of Saint Isidro Labrador, patron saint of Madrid and his wifeSanta Maria de la Cabeza. Today the bridge is closet to traffic, so it is a very nice place for a walk.
