Mairu guesthouse is set in the historical centre of Madrid, which allows you to get to many of the main sights and monuments on foot. The Plaza Mayor, the Palacio Real and Almudena Cathedral are all just a short stroll from the guesthouse. In the evening, you can visit the Royal Theatre that is only 3 minutes on foot from here, or you can explore the numerous bars, restaurants and nightspots of the city centre. The guesthouse also has excellent public transport connections. From here you can easily walk to Opera, and Sol metro stops.
