Hotel Plaza Mayor Located right in the historic heart of Madrid, this charming hotel is set in an attractive, 19th-century building in Plaza Santa Cruz, just off the city’s main squares of Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The Plaza Mayor is housed in a typical building of this part of Madrid. Throughout its interior you can enjoy the blend of traditional decor with contemporary touches: wood-panelled and bare stone walls are highlighted by fashionable, modern lighting. All rooms were renovated in 2007 into a clean, contemporary style. Parquet floors and modern artwork is complemented by facilities such as free Wi-Fi internet and satellite TVs.
