Hostal La Vera is a small family run one star establishment with a touch of warm quality, where you will be welcome with hospitality with a personal touch. You will also have available on-site all the necessary information for an easy access to all the amenities in Madrid: transportation, culture, leisure, security, arts and entertainment in the capital, etc... Our establishment is situated in a noble, historical building that belonged to the Dukes of Santoña. Recently renovated, its origins date back to the 19th century. Hostal La Vera has been open for over thirty years, which undoubtedly endorses our long customer-oriented service experience

Important information

Guests must confirm the arrival time in the reservation, otherwise the reservation will not be held passed 16:00 on the day of arrival. The booking will be paid at check-in. American Express is not accepted as a method of payment. If arrival is before 09:00 or after 23:00, staff must be notified.

Room information

We have 10 rooms in total -singles, doubles or triples. All of them are high standard, comfortable, quiet rooms with or without en-suite. All the rooms are unsophisticatedly but carefully decorated. All rooms have direct exterior ventilation, a large, quiet and always pleasant courtyard. The building is equipped with an elevator. Some of the rooms have baths and others showers. Some of the rooms have balconies.

Food & beverage

Enjoy a Spanish breakfast in the hotel cafeteria, only 2 minutes’ walk from the property in Calle Atocha (closed Sundays and throughout August). Breakfast is served from 08:45 to 13:00, Monday to Friday, and from 09.30 on Saturdays. Breakfast includes natural orange juice, coffee or tea, and toast or cake.

Travel information

We are right in the centre of Madrid, ideally communicated via public transportation. Customers have various public parking lots available in the area: Relatores street; 80 Atocha street; Jacinto Benavente Square.
