Room information

The De Las Letras H&R hotel has 103 rooms on six floors. The use of light and colour are two elements which are common to all of them. All of the large rooms have high ceilings and wide windows which let in plenty of natural light. The walls of the rooms are painted in original colours (ochre, burgundy, orange…) which are different on each floor of the building. Another of the emblematic characteristics of the hotel are the inscriptions on the walls of quotes from literature by famous writers and poets. The beds are decorated with large, comfortable cushions. This combination of elements provides the client with thematic decoration in a warm, cosy, intimate environment.

Food & beverage

The design of the DL’s Restaurant complements the rest of the hotel. Situated on the lower floor, it has three different levels, with direct access from the street as well as a private entrance from the hotel. One of the features of the restaurant, which holds up to 88 guests, is the glass walls, which allow for maximum use of natural light. The restaurant is open from 13:30 to 1 in the morning. If you do not want the night to end there, you can visit the bar-lounge until 2 in the morning. Enjoy a wide range of cocktails to the beat of the most current and select music. Another special option which will also pleasantly surprise you is the summer terrace in the penthouse, with spectacular views of the most typical neighbourhoods of Madrid.

In the library, readers can browse a modern selection of great literary works, which readers can enjoy on one of the comfortable sofas. This is yet another valuable service of the hotel, which allows clients to feel at home. The De Las Letras hotel has two rooms which hold from 10 to 150 people, as needed, for meetings, conferences, banquets… These rooms, which are located on the first floor of the building, have large windows onto the Gran Vía, with pleasant views and which allow natural light to enter. They have comfortable chairs and an elegant decoration which is complemented by the coffered ceilings and tiles from the last century. The ideal atmosphere to ensure the success of any social event.
